My name is Megan Cody.

Some people chase stories. I live them.

For over 15 years, my lens has been a witness to resilience, grit, and raw human experience. From the salt-rusted decks of fishing boats to the dust-laden arenas of rodeos, I’ve carved out a career documenting the untamed—humans who break barriers, communities that defy expectations, and the untold narratives waiting on the fringes.

My work spans documentaries, brand films, and photography that cut through the noise—visceral, intimate, and unapologetically authentic. I’ve collaborated with HGTV, Google, Marriott, and Nordstrom, weaving cinematic narratives that don’t just tell stories but make people feel them.

My passion lies in the quiet moments of courage: the cowgirl tightening her grip on the reins, the firefighter lacing up before the call, the silversmith forging beauty from flame. I believe in capturing stories that aren’t just seen but remembered—stories that live under fingernails, in calloused hands, and in the silent grit of those who refuse to be defined by expectation.

Whether I'm filming sunrise to sunset in the backcountry or shaping narratives for brands that want more than just another commercial, my mission is the same—tell the stories that matter, with the people who make them worth telling.
